school is just around the corner!

Summer has been wonderful!  Kev and I have a fun-filled weekend ahead of us... Zac Brown Band, sun and sand at the beach, Flying Squirrels, Lew's 1st birthday party, and dinner with some great friends.  

Although there are still a few more weeks of sleeping in, drinking coffee while watching the Today show, and not having a schedule, I can't help but start mentally preparing for a new year at a new school.  I'm excited about what this year has in store.  I saw my classroom for the first time yesterday and walked with a good friend (and now a co-worker!) while we chatted about the upcoming year.   I am praying for my students that will be in my class this year... I know He will place students in my class this year for His glory!

I love summer but I can say that I'm finally feeling ready for a new school year...  It sure does help that I love my job and feel blessed to get to do what I love each and every day.  God is good! :)
