This has been a busy but great spring! Here are a few highlights:
Within the past month or so, I've decided to transfer to a different school. I'm sad to be leaving Three Chopt Elementary but I am excited for my new adventure at Tuckahoe Elementary. I will be teaching 3rd grade next year and am excited about what the Lord has in store for me! Best of luck to my sweet, sweet 5th graders as they move on to middle school. I have great friends (and great memories) from my wonderful years at Three Chopt.
Last week, I took some time off and went to the beach with Kev and his family in Pawley's Island, SC. This was SUCH a fun time of relaxing and enjoying the Roys. I read a really good book, ate and drank tasty food and drinks, took long walks, soaked up the sun, and thoroughly enjoyed having some free time. I am so glad I went and I can't wait to go back! I think I'm ready to retire... :)
I'm still taking graduate school classes and will finish next May. It's been very challenging but such a rewarding learning experience. I won't be sad when I'm finished with my two summer courses though! :)
This summer, I'm teaching summer school at Colonial Trail ES. I'm teaching the enrichment 3rd/4th grade class... should be fun!
That's all for now! Short, quick update! Happy SUMMER!!!!!
